I can’t say I’m a professional in computer graphics but at the facility I work, the people know who to contact – Me. So every time someone needs a small image, a small render or something else related to images, they ask me for help. First time it has been just a simple job. A colleague needed the original BMW Z3 (2D Monoton) writing in High-Res so he could use it as a mask for airbrushing something inside the car. Later on, my supervisor started building his own motorbike and asked me to work out his “Giacomoto” Logo (render)  in detail. And the next colleague appeared. He want’s the Audi Logo with the fourth ring ripped into pieces cross his Audi TT doors. Actually he refers to an already existing image. But it’s just a very tiny one and I need to recreate it as detailed as possible. That one isn’t finished yet and the next demand arrives. Another upscaling from a pretty poor detailed image into a vector graphic or a CAD file.

It’s great if I can help them. Actually it would be cool to earn some money by doing all that but since they are my colleagues, I’m not fond of charging them even if they like to pay me voluntarily.  If I can’t persuade them, then we simply agree on an invitation at lunch.
