more music more

My parents have a quite huge CD collection they built up over plenty years. Perhaps not the biggest at all, but over 400 (guessed) sound like a lot to me. Of course I take the opportunity and get some CDs outa their shelve in case there are any good ones- and there are.
In my shelves I just have a few Soundtrack CDs but since one year now, I’m also collecting some from China and Hong Kong, especially C-Pop related music. Minor exceptions are two albums of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and one Japanese disc (didn’t payed enough attention when buying)

Just recently when I went to Hong Kong, I got hand on eight new ones and today I received my order from amazon.cn. (gladly I needn’t go to the customs a third time) The shipping has been even twice as high than the actual value of all the new CDs but it’s still less expensive than obtaining them by a German merchant who imported them.

I actually never counted the total number of CDs but let me do that right now –

49 Albums(-1, it turned out to be a fake once)

– wow. I’m surprised myself a little bit.

Karen Mok (莫文蔚) has been my “China-trigger”. I have nearly every major album (13). Hmm, if that isn’t coincidence.  Next is FanFan (范玮琪) with 7 albums. Then there are a few diverse artists sharing the shelf. If the number of CDs keep increasing that fast, I’ll need a new shelf by the beginning of the next year.

Anyway, time to start listening on the new ones now.
