The tourism agency of Ulm has initiated a photo contest a few months ago. Just today I’ve received a letter and a small prize. Actually I have been totally surprised about that fact, two photos of mine came into the short-list of the competition. And aswell surprised I’ve been when I compared them to some of the competitors images. Did not knew, retouched images were allowed but afterall, that wouldn’t be much of my style since I hardly retouch my photos.  And I never thought they would make it that far since they are very very simple actually. More kind of a snapshot. I don’t have plenty photos of Ulm and when I’ve collected material for my NUlm3D Project, then I sometimes just made snapshots. In the letter it’s beeing said, that perhaps a few images could be used for advertising purpose or for the press.

So, I’ve received two cups which are ideal for my daily tea at work. But to know that I came onto the short-list, gives me a great feeling.
