Neue Mitte
I have been restarting on working for the NUlm3D project. The location i’m working on is located in town, called “Neue Mitte” (New center) There are three buildings i will create with time. Normally the model itself is pretty fast done unless you have no satellite images from Google Earth (and similar) or blueprints. But luckily i found some by coincidence in a PDF somewhere. More work are extracting usefull texture data from photos. If you have up to 10 images for one wall, the best panorama software won’t help and i have to stretch and crop them manually. If that’s done, i can setup the UV-Map.

Anakin’s Podracer
Another model i’m currently working on is for the Freelancer WTS World modification. Actually you fly around with a space ship but a new feature with the next mod version will be the planet Tatooine from Star Wars including a few vehicles. Since the game engine can’t handle high-poly models, i had to build my own low-poly mesh. The model itself is done. Now i have to create textures for it.
