The some of you visiting my site have realized, that I haven’t been much around here to update the website or the blog.

IHK Awards 2010
Well first of all I start with the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) wich was awarding the best apprentices 2010 in more than 60 job cetegories in the county Neu-Ulm and Günzburg. I have been the lucky one getting awarded as best industrial mechanic specialized production engineering in those counties. But I was and I still am more surprised about the fact, that I managed that good performance. Butit was quite a honor for me afterall and for my company aswell of course.

Falcons everywhere
1977, a movie was having everybody spellbound. – Star Wars –
Actually i watched the movies first 1997 when my parents had the special edition on tape. That time I’ve seen just a few scenes and did not understand the movie quite. But just a few years later then I got the chance to watch it again – over and over again as it turned out later. The Millennium Falcon (in the first movie translated to German:”Furious” Falcon) was my favorite vessel from the very first moment. Even today I like the design pretty much.

With time I was collecting miniatures and my shelf got full pretty fast. Suddenly i had to find a solution wich would fit nice into my room. First I thought of a small glass cabinet but then I had to find a spot where Could place it and since my walls are quite blank I’ve chosen the glass shelves. The oldest miniature is from the Kenner (right bottom) from the 80’s and the most recent one is the Lego Falcon on the left bottom. Since i don’t collect much I like at least collect something afterall. And It’s not the end yet.

Website Changes
Soon when I have more time again I eventually go change the Website a little bit. Improve performance and design. I found out, when pinging my website, it looses packages – whatever that means but i know it’s not good. Aswell i will size down the buttons eventually to improve loading time. I don’t know what can be done and what not and how far the performance will improve without loosing the momentary flair of the site.
